This session presents the development of a relatively new high temperature vapor phase polymeric material, Parylene HT, which offers solutions to many existing and future protective, packaging and reliability issues for various types of sensors and related electronics at micro and nano scale. The high-level protection is due to Parylene HT’s unique optical, electrical and mechanical properties, chemical inertness and long-term thermal stability up to 350oC for long-term and 450oC for short-term.
