This session provides an introduction and overview of printed, flexible, stretchable and functional fabric sensors and sensor-based systems and their associated electronics, the applications that they are currently enabling as well as their future application opportunities. Examples from current suppliers as well as highlights from leading international research organizations will be addressed. Concluding the presentation is the barriers to the successful commercialization, critical success factors and recommended strategies for monetization opportunities of these technologies.
