Deploying sensors and gateways to remote locations where they will be unattended in harsh environments is always a gamble. Will they have reliable power? Will they stay online? Will the data get corrupted and be unreadable? This session demonstrates some solutions to overcome these issues and ensure that data integrity remains intact, regardless of the environment. It also covers the known pitfalls with some media types and demonstrate how you can circumvent those issues and give your system some redundancy.
