Ozgur Yavuzcetin, “Oz” is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater, in the department of physics. He has worked to improve the efficiencies of solar cells by creating nano-porous templates. At Northwestern University, he has worked on micro fabricated lateral line sensors (used in touch and force sensing). At Northeastern University, he and his team invented a higher resolution imaging of brainwaves, which resulted in a company. Currently at UW-Whitewater, he is collaborating with a small business producing corrosion sensors. He is passionate about teaching practical electronics and working with students on various hands-on projects.
